My family home since 2004.
Unfortunately I hand over to new custodians in 2 weeks.

I always wanted a home by water which I achieved with my first home, a small semi which I adored. Unfortunately it was too small for a growing family and we had to move.

A few years later my dear Gran past away and generously left me her house with a lot of land which gave me the opportunity to sell the house, retain some land and build on it.

Now, pending divorce demands I sell, I sorely wish I'd protected my Gran's generosity a little better.

That is sad Terry but not an unusual situation I am afraid . Just been talking to someone in a similar situation.
