Huge storm

Just had a huge storm here, thunder lightening, hail and torrential rain, easing a bit now so hopefully can now get everyone to bed but it was so loud no hope before this.


Hope it misses everyone else tonight !

It's OK here at the mo Julie, but possible storms were forecast.

I'm afraid big storms unnerve me a bit.

Love that sort of thing. We've just had cloud and continual rain and drizzle all week up here in' North.

Typical innit ... we have one lovely day and then it's downhill .

I'd heard there were nasty storms on their way to the midlands mostly ..
But the weather predictions can't be geographically accurate these days I suppose
Either way, stay safe but enjoy the sky show!

We have had heavy rain showers, since about 10 p.m., one has just stopped.

A lovely dry clear night here in my corner of Derbyshire. Maybe the storm will come in the night and wake me up!

Probably freaky but I find storms exciting - as long as one is safe.
Been through a couple of cyclones and watched roofs and vehicles thrown around.

Out in a smallish open boat though - different story.
I never venture forth without checking weather - but things happen - particularly at night.
That can be a tad frightening and uncomfortable.
