In dramas and films, you see people having their breakfast in bed - why ?
Unless you are ill - I see no point to it, in fact I find it yuk - if true
Is it true ...................?
I have also found it to be a bit yuk. As you say, fine if you are ill but who needs all those toast crumbs in the bed. I recently did some extensive work to my living room and we had to live in the bedroom for two weeks. We hated it.
When Tony used to work a night shift many years ago I regularly used to go to bed with a hot drink, sandwiches and a good book. I also did it when he was in hospital - I don't do it while he's here though - he hates eating in bed..
Lovely luxury to have breakfast in bed, I have it twice a year on my birthday and on Mother's Day. Boiled eggs and toast with a nice cup of real coffee.
Nope, don't like it! I like to be seated upright to eat. Eating semi reclined can't be good for you, besides I'd get cornflakes down me jim jams or over the duvet and it would be too easy for kitties to join in.
Yes, unless ill (and then I wouldn't be hungry) I would be put off by the discomfort of sitting up with legs out straight in front and trying to bend over a tray.
