This is a loophole that should have been closed decades ago.

Its a pity but I don't think that party is in existence any more .
The raving loonies are the leftists who cling to their archaic ideals and much married dinasaur Corbyn .
I wonder if Hilary Benn would like to pay back everything he inherited from his father . Old Tony Benn may have been a socialist through and through but it didn't stop him from making sure his family were all well looked after financially -he was against tax avoidance but he had no problem in practicing himself !

There is no difference from him and Cameron's parents .
And you know what I don't blame them
Inheritance tax is tantamont to stealing -taxing money that has already been taxed.

Inheritance tax once the scourge of the stately home owners now affects many as disgracefully successive governments have not raised it in line with the rising property market

Re: Another reason not to vote for Corbyn

The threshold for the iniquitous Inheritance Tax is £325,000. Potentially this means that any surviving spouse, living in London or some other City such as York and owning their own home, who wants to pass on their estate to their children will be liable for this tax.

They would have to pay 40% of the amount above the threshold before he estate would be released. The Threshold was even less before the Conservatives came to power. I wonder many domestic properties in London are worth more that £325,000. Inheritance Tax affects more people that you would think.

It's not just London and York Rainmaker .
Quite modest houses all over the country pass this threshold now.
Most people want to pass something on to their children who may themselves be struggling with mortgages .
