Using your hands

Ard you left or right handed?
We are all right handed in my family but my youngest son is right handed but left-footed!
If you're left handed do you struggle to use certain things?

I am right handed my husband is ambidextrous and the kids use a mixture of hands depending who taught them what, they all knit right handed but sew left handed.

Re: Using your hands

My husband was left handed, and the thing he used to moan about was his underpants, you remember the sort, with the opening at the front. The opening was always on the right hand side, and when he showed me how awkward it was if you were left handed, I thought there must be a lot of other men having the same problem.

Re: Using your hands

Left handed for writing & sewing and left footed for kicking.

Everything else (knitting, eating etc) the right handed way.

Re: Using your hands

That's really interesting I didn't realise people used both hands in so many different ways
I buy left handed scissors at school for the pupils who are left handed to use but some struggle to use them too I've noticed.
I've invested in craft knives for them now

Marion, would this also depend on which side "sir dresses" I wonder?
But I do wonder far too much about that sort of thing!
