I've just watched an episode of The Bill, I'd forgotten how gritty it was and wonderfully none PC(pun intended)

Roberta Taylor as Ins Gina Gold was superb.

I don't know which era you saw but the original Bill was excellent with Hollis, Ackland, Stamp and carver. I thought it went down hill towards the end though.

Just watched a couple of episodes on you tube, forgotten how good they were compared with some of the modern day rubbish .

i liked DI Burnside - used to like The Bill but then towards the end when some of the regulars had left wasnt a fan
