Taken yesterday at Thrapston lake.
We went for a walk yesterday afternoon and the wind was strong enough to blow you over.

Good morning everyone, heavy rain and winds here overnight but it seems a bit quieter at the moment.

My Mum is coming over for lunch today so I am cooking a chicken roast with all the trimmings, not decided on the dessert yet though.

Just back from an early morning fishing trip here in Poland, a lovely spring morning.

For the birders amongst you, I heard bitterns calling, amazing sound.

Shortly off out for a trip in the countryside to see some beavers.

Morning all. Yes Patsy, I remember 1987. Dad slept through it while Mum and I looked out the front door.

I also remember October 16th 1987...I sat at the top of our stairs all night praying !

Storm force winds here in Essex right now, but I think it will pass over quickly......Stay safe everyone....

Happy Easter Monday everyone,

What a terrible night, I would say it was a very similar situation to 1987. A lot of areas here in ~Essex~ are without power and many trees are down. The Dartford Queen Elizabeth Bridge is closed and the crossing down to one lane each way. Somehow or other I have to try to walk Amber, just hope we can stay upright in this wind and rain.
