Poop

Every time I take my dog for a walk, I make sure I have my poop bag with me, we go off into the Country Park, and, if she does a Whoopsie, even in the long grass, I do my best to retrieve it, well, today, I had to navigate past two huge mounds of Horse Excrement, on the public walkway, given my dogs size could be described as small to medium, the biggest poo she does is comparable to a small Cumberland sausage, which is scooped, why do Horse owners get away with depositing huge dumps with impunity?

Re: Poop

Spitty, I have always said exactly the same!

Riders don't have to jump off their horses and scoop up no matter where they drop it, neither do cat owners clear up. It's just us dog owners.
Is that some sort of discrimination?

Re: Poop

Could be the economy of scale, see, the local Warden could, quite rightly question "Why" you had not scooped your dogs Poo, and hand out an on the spot fine, the same Warden could ask the same question of the Horse Rider, who would answer, "You wanna try Scooping that Lot".

See, this is symptomatic, people just want to solve stuff that is solvable.

Re: Poop

Unless there are packs of wild dogs roaming the streets overnight, in my experience 50% of dog owners never pick it up either. However, if you ask a dog owner, they all pick it up!

Re: Poop

Dog poo is the foulest most evil smelling muck to get off ones shoes. Horses on the other hand - being vegetarian - their muck isn't so offensive. Also - being in huge mounds it's easy to see and avoid.

As for cat poo - I don't think I've ever trodden in any in my life. I think cat's are discreet about where they do it!
