Hoarding

We can't possibly know the full story, but you've got to feel sorry for her.... she looks so lost..

Re: Hoarding

That is so sad, I wonder what will happen to all her stuff, some is valuable, if sold it could possibly go towards a new home for her. I hope it isn't trashed or picked over by people!

Yes Tess, I thought that too. I can't stop thinking how lost she must feel

What big brave men those bailiffs are, hope they are proud of themselves, scum is the most polite word I can think of.

Re: Hoarding

Having a hoarder in my family I would say that doesn't even look like a hoarders home, she just seems to have a lot of collections.

Re: Hoarding

My thoughts too Julie, there's usually dead creatures and filth.
It looked tidy if cluttered.
I bet some of her collection ends up on Ebay, they could put it all in storage for her until she can sell it or find somewhere to live.
I think it's stealing.

Re: Hoarding

I knew a fellow here in town, through some community work I once did. He's an on again/off again homeless soul. He collects every single glove that he finds in the firm conviction that some day he'll find the "right" or "left" match to them. He had (has?) boxes full of them.

Re: Hoarding

This poor lady needed specialist help, wonder if any was provided so the need for this to happen could have been avoided. Having paramilitary thugs breaking down your door to evict you would have added more pain.

Then work out the cost of re homing them im sure a better option could have been found.

Re: Hoarding

There is development planned in that area, I believe, and the Housing Association want to pull the old houses down and build twice as many in the same area. Mammon is always in the background to theses stories.

Now that makes more sense.
