Mis-heard song lyrics

Not sure if this has been done in the past but I'm new here so here goes.

You know those songs you used to sing along to but didn't realise you were singing the wrong words:

'I'm dancing with the chicken slacks' Twistin' the night away - Sam Cooke

'No one on earth could feel like this
Im thrown and overgrown with fleas' There must be an angel - Eurythmics

It has been done lot's of times.
The most famous is "Scuse me while I kiss this guy" Jimi Hendrix.

There was a woman in my local pub who thought The Kings Of Leon were singing "Your Kecks Is On Fire"

Re: Mis-heard song lyrics

I always thought the lyrics to this were rude......5th verse starts with
"You're one of those guys who likes to polish his machine" then goes on to
"I can't believe you kiss your .... Goodnight"

Have a listen and fill in the blank, I'd like to know what anyone else thinks it is. Not sure if it's just me.

Re: Mis-heard song lyrics

Needles 'n' Pins has a line that my OH thought was 'She'll feel those needles n pins, Edna, Edna.. I thought, what? !!Who's Edna? makes no sense at all until I realised it was 'She'll feel those needles n pins hurtin' her, hurtin' her ! He's a silly old fool...

Think you need to have a scouse accent - He doesn't sing it now, obviously... lol
