Threadbare Jeans

Ripped jeans - some cost a fortune but I would still throw them out, hate the sight of them and still see them for sale since the 80s
Nice looking fella on a show last night, then later I noticed his bloomin knee protruding through his jeans, he suddenly looked ridiculous

Re: Threadbare Jeans

My jeans at the moment have a tear next to the left back pocket, so i put a long tee shirt over them. That was until my hubby noticed it when i reached up to get something out of the cupboard..

I know the ones your on about Patsy, some jeans have multi rips down the front of the leg, same as tee shirts they have too. I'm a little old now for those though

Re: Threadbare Jeans

My work jeans would pass as "designer fashion" if I wasn't so old

Re: Threadbare Jeans

I'd rather see ripped jeans than pristine ones with vertical creases ironed in.

Re: Threadbare Jeans

I find my jeans fray on the bottoms of the legs, not my bottom. They tend to be a tad too long & the short leg ones too short. I have to keep hitching them up, guess I need to wear a belt more often.
I think the ripped designer jeans look silly.

Re: Threadbare Jeans

You've given me an idea.

I'll buy some cheap jeans, make a few slashes in the knee area and flog them at a massive mark-up.

You keep watching 'Dragon's Den'.

Re: Threadbare Jeans

When I see someone in ripped jeans I feel sorry for them and want to give them a couple of quid to go and buy some proper trousers....

Re: Threadbare Jeans

They do look terrible, however if I was a young skipper I'm sure I'd be swaggering around in my 'designer' jeans like the rest..........well it is said if you wasn't in fashion you might as well be dead.

Re: Threadbare Jeans

I'll never understand young people as long as I live.
Who else would pay through the nose for 'designer' jeans with rips at the knees, when they could buy a cheap pair and a sharp knife?
