Hope all goes well AB for your annual medical
I get my tower unit back today - my pc went capute on Friday and Grant took it away to test the PSU and other parts on his pc and it was the motherboard that needs replacing, so he ordered one for me online and it arrives at his place today and he will fit it. He lent me his laptop because it has Windows 7 - I hate XP and that is what my laptop has. I am using my own keyboard as I can't use a laptop's keyboard, the keys are too close together and too flat. I can never type on a laptop as I use the side of my fingers on my left hand to type since my accident a few years ago when I broke my left arm and it never set properly. Using my own screen as well

Morning all!
I had to cancel my dental appointment this morning as I'm still coughing for England with my darned cold
It was just for as check up so I'm not too disappointed. The weather can't seem to make up it's mind this morning, it keeps coming over dark but I don't think we have rain forecast today.

Looks like this really is the Medical Thread!My cold is retreating rapidly. Hostile Host, as my husband says!
We have the same weather as you Mags but I have decided I'll risk a load of washing - the heavens will probably open quite soon
We had a dry afternoon and early evening for the allotment barbeque yesterday, which was great, as 70 folks from a few weeks to 70+ had an enjoyable time and tasty scoff

Hi, All. Cloudy here but not the rain sort; still nicely warm at 25 C (77 F). Went to the market earlier, and have pruned some more of the rampant ivy and Virginia creeper on the fence and wall. Now I have to get back to the bamboo, which is winning the race to take over the back yard!Hope all goes well at the checkup, AB,

And on the medical theme we are not long back from hospital.Dr Thomas could see nothing untoward in Jenny`s mouth/throat. He felt the blood was just slight trauma to the scar tissue as a result of her throat excersises.
They will look more closely when she goes in for her osephagus to be stretched next week
