We went off to the woods today and Benny played lets bu66er off while mum's not looking.. I had to chase after him and put him back on track several times but he enjoyed himself so much I didnt have the heart to put his lead on.
When I had my oldie until recently, I always felt they deserved a bit of leeway in their dotage.
My youngest, Nellie, is a monkey though, and I won't make excuses for her. She has a pair of ear plugs she pops in when I'm not looking. They must be good because she can't hear me at all when she's got those in!
I must find out where she hides them. . . .
I was really pleased to be able to take him out and let him lose today, even though hes blind now I think it helps keep him alert and happy.
I also wanted to make sure he wasnt getting fearful after the recent bite incident,, healing now but as the fur around the bite has fallen out the two marks are quite visible..
As for earplugs ..Benny's are quite sdelctive they work when I call him for a bath or home time but the biscuit tin is like a loudspeaker calling him at the faintest of rattles.

Hmm, strange that isn't it Cass.
I reckon Benny emailed Nellie with where to buy them.
Glad he's recovering from that nasty dog attack alright.
