Strawberry Festival

Yeah! We finally have summer weather with clear blue skies and 80 F. Going Sunday with my friend, Warren, to a local Strawberry Festival. Such things are much fun & provide a great opportunity for fresh strawberries you pick yourself. It also provides great photographic material so I'll be sure to have my camera.

Re: Strawberry Festival

Make sure they are not GM strawberries Bob! I just discovered that the GM version have a gene from a rare Atlantic fish that has 'anti-freeze' properties (as strawberries are susceptible to freezing).

Shocking stuff - tho I hope that doesn't put you off... too much

Re: Strawberry Festival

Many thanks, Bob, for the link. It looks to be a fun day for all! As Azz rightly says, watch out they are not the GM version!

Look forward to seeing your lovely pics when you take them

Take care and enjoy!
