Today I needed to buy a few thing so I decided to go to the nearest friendly neighborhood Walmart store. As I walk in I notice this young lady looking in my direction. Does a double take and with this big smile on her face says.. you look familiar. Wanting to play along with her I say... don't make too much noise I don't want to be noticed. She then comes closer all excited and says.. I knew it was you, could I have your autograph ?. At this point I scribble my name hoping she will leave me alone. But, to my regret, turns and yells at her friend that was across the aisle... Mabel, hurry, I just got an autograph from a famous movie star. Movie star ???Where, what, when and how ? Suddenly, this new found fame of mine begins to snowball. Women are turning their heads left and right and making their way towards me like a stampede. I begin to panick, sweats starts to pour down my back. Suddenly, I find an opening in one of the aisles and make my way towards the pharmacy. Yet, in the background I hear the rush of carts being push by a renegade of women towards me and looking for me to fulfill their fantasy. The pharmacist must of seen the look of fear in my eyes. Quicky he leads me to the backroom, indicates the emergency exit and as I make my fast getaway, I hear the pharmacist announce on the store loud speaker, that Elvis has just left the building.
Ooo - you experienced a bit of fame there Rodolfo - not so good is it, especially when you just want to get on with a bit of shopping
Maybe you should have started singing - that would have sent them in the opposite direction - next time, you will be prepared
