Do you need a reason?

Before you send a pm msg to someone?
Do you send pm msgs on a whim or do you wait until you have a reason to msg them(friends/others)?
I dont send pms very often,but I think most of mine are just sent on a whim,for no other reason than I wanted to
I think its lovely to recieve pms from friends unexpectedly.

I rarely send them, usually only to give or ask for advice or give support.
I converse by message with some folk on Chat or email so no need to pm really.
It is nice to receive them from other folk though. I always reply.

I usually only send replies to a message but sometimes, I suddenly think of someone (like you Aysa!) and I just want to get in touch!
It's good to see how people who haven't been so well, are getting on. It is also nice to give people support and it shows, you really do care....

No dont use them, had a bad experience on another site so anything i have to say is in the forum and all can see it.

I have no wish to communicate with anyone personally on this forum or many others on which I post.

I like the pm system - I send and receive them
There is always a reason for any communication
