Nursery Rhymes.

Fuzzy Wuzzy was a bear,
Fuzzy Wuzzy had no hair,
So Fuzzy Wuzzy wasn't really fuzzy, wuzzy.

This nursery rhyme has suddenly surfaced within my mind for the first time in seventy years. Who on earth taught it to me?

I wish I had taught it to my kids, and my grandchildren (we don't have any).

Will you please teach it to your grandkids - just so that it is perpetuated through the years.

Thank you.

Re: Nursery Rhymes.

Hanfonius, I don't think kids seem to learn nursery rhymes anymore. I remember hearing the one you quoted but thought it was very silly when I was a child.

Re: Nursery Rhymes.

Of course children learn nursery rhymes...my little grandson knows English and Spanish rhymes from his various groups, they're always singing!!
But Fuzzy Wuzzy is a chant rather than a song?
Like Incy Wincy Spider?

Quite right Tarantula but as it's over 50 years since I said it to my kids I'd forgotten.
