Well done Osbourne, Facebook to pay UK Tax

Hi

After years of avoiding UK Tax , Cameron and Osbourne have got them to pay.

They have finally managed to close another one of the disgusting loopholes put in to place by the Labour Party, the so called Champions of the Workers, to allow the big Multi Nationals to avoid UK Tax.

Keep up the good work.

Now for the big one, Amazon.

I would love to see that sanctimonious EU Mandarin Juncker squirm when we finally manage to scrap the Luxembourg Tax Haven and get Amazon to pay Tax here.

Would appear that this so-called tax victory doesn't start to trigger till 2017 and could be yet another 'sweetheart' deal like Google. In addition, HMRC is paying 'Facebook' more in advertising than it receives in Tax - so some victory!!!

I'll bet the "millions" are in the tens, rather than the hundreds or thousands, so the tax paid will be on a par with staff bonuses (£35m to its 362 staff last year) .....

After the failure of previous governments it is good to see George Osborne having some success with these huge companies.

Facebook may pay no extra tax for years, experts warn – as it 'sits on £21.4 billion it could use to offset bill'

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk...-a6912636.html

Facebook may pay little or nothing in additional tax to the Treasury for years despite its announcement that it is overhauling its corporate structure to create “greater transparency” about its tax affairs in Britain, The Independent can reveal.

But experts warned that Chancellor George Osborne may have to wait for years to see a penny in extra corporation tax from Facebook because it is sitting on £21.4m in deferred tax relief which it could use to offset future bills from the HMRC.

According to one estimate provided to The Independent, royalties paid by Facebook’s subsidiaries to its parent company mean that its UK tax bill could amount to as little as £4m a year under the new structure.
Well done, George ..... a stunning achievement .....
