Senior moments

I had one yesterday.

In between the heavy showers I was trying to get the washing on the line.

Not much use and when I saw some really nasty weather coming I got it all into the basket.

Made a coffee and came up here to tidy my study.

The heavens opened and it poured-smug me thought I had got the washing in in time.

Went downstairs and out of the kitchen window I saw-a washing basket full of washing-very wet washing

OG Men can't do washing, they are not biologically built for it, but I do applaud you for trying

Re: Senior moments

good one!

I recall a laundry-related senior moment
Upstairs, look through the laundry bin, sort out a load of washing into the basket, come downstairs, open w. machine door, put in powder, set programme, switch on.
It wa sseveral hours later I went back into the kitchen to find the basket of dirty washing still on the surface.

Re: Senior moments

Nice one! Apparently my brother had a 'moment' with the washing just after he and SIL were married. She had left him a note 'don't forget washing'. He didn't forget it just forgot to switch on washing machine and instead took all the washing out of machine, folded it and put in basket for ironing thinking it had been washed and spin dried!!!!!!!! SIL now spells everything out when she wants him to do something...........

Re: Senior moments

My best (recently!) was, in the middle of a DIY job, popping out to B&Q for something or other. Then 10 minutes later finding myself wandering around Tesco pushing a trolley!!!
