Birds part 1

I thought it would be nice for members to post their pictures of birds.

I thought I might start off with some from my archives.

Yes, Janela. That bird would have been last years young. There is an ongoing preservation programme at the Venus Pool with an awful variety of birds coming and going.

All I need now is a lens with the reach to photograph, in minute detail, a subject at between 800 and 1000 yards.

The lens I would like costs something in the region of £7000,00, the only problem with that is that I want to stay married.

From the quality of your photos, I wouldn't think you need a better lens.
