If I'd only said "no" to that last drink.

I can honestly say I have never been drunk in the whole of my life, neither has my husband.

That rules your husband out of the 'do you know this man' appeal.

Why would a person as drunk as a skunk appeal to anyone?

Maybe it's just you've never seen him sober?

Re: If I'd only said "no" to that last drink.

How many pints would you have to drink to be that wide eyed and legless?

I had too much to drink one Christmas Eve when I was seventeen, the office closed at lunch time for Christmas and we went to the West Gate Hotel in Newport to celebrate.

I had about eight shorts and my friend had the same, I walked out from there with clarity, she was carried out by four men, they each held a limb. Oh, for a mobile 'phone with a camera.

When I got home I still felt fine but tired, didn't want any tea and went for a lie down. When my head hit the pillow the room started spinning and wouldn't stop and I felt sick, I went to sleep for a couple of hours and when I woke up I felt rough.

I can remember saying to my mother and gran, if this is drinking they can stick it. I hardly ever touched it after that and then only one or two.
