Mission Impossible ?

Would be for me ....
We were discussing the opening sequence where the guy goes into a phone box gets his message and then told - this message will self destruct in 4 seconds - dun dun daaarn !!
4 seconds ? I'd be shouting hang on, what was the name again? - where do I go ? What .. BOOM !
Bloomin 'eck - too quick fer me .........
Could you cope with that one ...........

Quick eh? But that was in the good old days Patsy, now with all the new technology and the cut backs the government agents only get 2 seconds, it's strickly for the techo whiz kids, no use for the likes of you and me.

That's true enough - I'd have been OK a few years back with the bit of shorthand I got by with - today the shopping list is a task in itself

For me the old Mission Impossible with Mt. Phelps and his gang was the best series around...

We watched the latest one with Tom Cruise the other afternoon on Netflix, it was a breathless ride and we were without a clue as to the plot... if there was one...

Enjoyed it though.

I can't watch him - Cruise that is, he couldn't convince me of anything

I must admit I wouldn't go out of my way to watch a film because of him, but let's just say he didn't ruin it completely.
