Supermarket Or Branded Fuel?

Where do you fill up your vehicle with fuel, at a supermarket or a major oil brand garage? Do you trust supermarket petrol, or do you pay a little extra for branded fuel?
Do you fill up the tank or just buy a small amount of fuel to keep you going?

Re: Supermarket Or Branded Fuel?

I don't have a supermarket near selling petrol. I get mine anywhere I happen to be passing .

I did once have trouble after getting petrol from a small garage, apparently water had got into the storage tank at the garage.

Both.

My vans I fill up anywhere, not fussed.

My car(just got rid)I filled up at Shell or Esso, only the best branded fuel for her, the engine was too complex to risk any inferior fuel.

Get my petrol from either Tesco's or Morrison's,price per litre good at both.Don't trust Asda petrol-put some in my car back last year and the car was not running too well after, luckily I only put in enough to get me home.

We usually wait for the tank to be only1/4 full and then fill it up at Sainsbury's.

Went for a job once at a petroleum distribution depot, was told it's all the same stuff, there is just one pipeline from the refinery to the storage point, it all comes down it

Re: Supermarket Or Branded Fuel?

Perhaps someone can tell me if this is true or not . I was told to use branded garages occasionally as there is something more in the petrol which helps the car run better . I do fill up at tesco mostly though
