Hotseat - Getting to know you.
I was on a Canadian forum some years ago and they had a thread called 'The hot seat'I would like to introduce it here.
A Hotseat is where a member puts themselves in the spotlight for a few days while fellow members ask them questions about themselves. Of course if they don't want to answer any questions they don't have to. On the forum I was on the Hotseat thread lasted a week so members don't have to rush all at once with their questions. After a week someone else went in the Hotseat ... It regularly got over 100 posts as of course you can ask as many questions as you like.
I introduced it to another forum last year and it was a success there too. We have enough lively people on this forum to make a go of it I reckon. Not for those who like to protect their internet ID though!
I didn't know where to put this thread so it's here where it will probably be noticed the most.
If anybody is interested perhaps a 'Hotseat' thread could be started.

Hey Carol.Good morning, and what a jolly good idea.
I remember a similar thread on My Next Circle (now defunct) and another one I cannot recollect right now. Yes, the threads were very successful.
Please don't put me in the hotseat just yet though, as I am really very busy!

Doc thats a lovely thing to say ...im a very private person though...but if theres no one else wants to go in the "hot seat" then I will sit in it ...but I reserve the right to be silent about certain matters lolIt reminds me a bit like 20 questions...
