Network Rail earmarks 18 stations for privatisation to tackle debt

In the face of huge support for the re-nationalising of the railways, the 'nasty party' are allowing Network rail to 'flog off' (no doubt at some knock down price) to private buyers.

I wonder how many of those potential buyers will either be 'nasty party' MPs or members???

Good morning Uncle Joe, im for nationalizing the railways again. Seems all that was achieved by privatization was a poorer service profit before people.

Yes, that's something we can agree on Joe, British Rail and Royal Mail were a couple of the jewels in Britain's crown, sad to see how they've turned out.

I think studies have shown that there is public appetite for the renationalisation of the rail system. Presumably it will never happen, as it didn't happen under so many years of recent Labour government

Will not matter one toss Joe Boy who runs what, the end result will still be a total disaster.

Too late for Rail, too late for Mail and Post Office. Too late for the NHS?

It's just made it a bloody minefield. Once upon a time you could pay your bills (the same price for everyone) and that was it, but now you have to be a financial wizard, or hire one. When you get to our age who wants to spend all their time searching through comparison sites.

Best person to run and sort our railway management out would be Donald Trump.

Come to that Donald Trump for PM.
