If David Jason can still pull the 'lovable rogue' off at his age, it will be worth seeing.

But who is writing it? Sadly we've also lost some great actors, like Roger Lloyd Pack, Buster Merryfield, and the chap who played barman Mike. And without the great talent of John Sullivan, who could top the old series?

Would be interesting I agree to see Damian (cue music!!) and Joanie grown up.

I guess OH will be watching it as well. He has been watching the runs of umpteen re-runs on TV lately. He must know every scene/word by heart by now.
