Parmesan cheese fraud

In the US, tests show products described as "100 percent Parmesan" cheese routinely have cut-rate substitutes — like wood pulp, and cheaper cheeses such as cheddar, Swiss, and mozzarella.

Don't know what it's like in the UK but I've been saying for years that expensive Parmesan cheese had no taste whatsoever. I think we've been had.

I would be more worried about the ready grated stuff they use in takeaway restaurants, there could be anything in that . I buy it in a piece.
