Ive been using the car to go to work which is so uneconomical but the fact is my jobs are now so spread out that if I cycle home I wont have time to eat lunch before going out again. Plus my knee really aches if I cycle and work and walk the dog so OH suggested getting a scooter.

We put a bid on one this eveing and the owner has just mailed to say she accepts our bid and when do we want to go round!

It will have to be Thursday Im working all day tomorrow but Im excited I havent had a scooter for about 14 years now but I really used to enjoy it.

Thats a good idea , one i wish i could take up but with all the traffic on the road , id need a change of undies by the time i got to my destination ..

Cass, I wondered if you will need to have a cbt test to ride a scooter . What cc is the engine ?

Its a 50cc and I already have a licence so no new test required.
