Did YOU ever find your Dream Lover?

In my teens I always dreamed of finding my Dream Lover.
I purchased, and still have that particular record, and later the CD by Bobby Darin.
However, it took me to the age of 50 and only after 2 divorces before I finally found my Dream Lover,
who just happens to be my now Wife.
Listening to that record again this morning has prompted me to come here and ask my friends.
Did YOU ever find your very own Dream Lover?

Found him & parted from him. Never to see him again.
But I did marry & have two grown up children. Sometimes I do wonder if my life would have been different had I married my first love.
But then I would not have had my lovely kids.

I never wanted/needed a 'dream lover', whatever that really means. All I needed was an intelligent man who had a good career and could provide well for us, I got that.

Fair comment, but I think the words of the song spell out quite clearly what a Dream Lover really is.

I think there are probably several people that we could live happily ever after with if we ever met them .
Its a shame we aren't all colour coded for compatibility to cut out all the trail and error , kissing frogs etc.
I we all had a colored dot on our forehead it would be much easier
