The Sphinx

One of the greatest mysteries of all is this lion in the desert that has stood for eternity in the sands of Egypt. What was its purpose and the message that it wished to tell future generations ? There are subtle clues, like how it faces the east. Between its paws is a small altar and how the Sphinx itself, stands before the Great Pyramid as if it was a guardian of sorts. Its age has yet to be determined. Some say its 3000 years old while others claim its over 8000 years old. Truth of the matter is, it builders wanted to leave a message, a message that for now seems to have been obscured by the sands of time

Re: The Sphinx

There's plenty of myths surrounding it, like the story of the young boy who cleared it of sand, unfortunately the ending is missing.

Dating it would be near impossible as it's had additions down the centuries, it's not original.

Some claim there are passages below it.

Re: The Sphinx

More than likely there are tunnels under the Sphinx. Egyptians dug tunnels under the pyramids and elsewhere, why not under the Sphinx ?

Here is a drawing of what those tunnels might look like..

Re: The Sphinx

The Sphinx and indeed the great pyramids at Giza, and indeed pretty much all of the other lesser pyramids spread all along the Nile are all laid out to perfectly mirror the constellations in our night sky. It is quite a remarkable feat that so many structures were built to that level of accuracy.

The 3 great pyramids at Giza are obviously the belt of Orion and the pyramids further up and down the Nile the stars Sirius and Aldebaran respectively. See below

See also below the other pyramids in lower Egypt and how they perfectly map onto constellations.

More here:

This is all of course part and parcel of the wider "Pleiades Mystery" which Freemasons and other secret societies know all about.

Re: The Sphinx

The Sphinx according to some, represents the mysteries. So the brothers of Mystery Schools in Egypt erected the Sphinx and the Pyramids as a focal point of knowledge for future generations. Thus the Great Pyramid was not used as a chamber to bury the Pharaoh, but as a structure for initiation

Re: The Sphinx

The Sphinx represents the constellation of Leo. Quite possibly it is tied in with initiations and the "mysteries" but fundamentally the "whole" represents a star map and as we know that is all about recording the secret to the ONE sun-like star in the vicinity of Pleiades.

Aysa - note that a great many people DO know about all of this. They know which pyramid(s) were capped with gold representing the on that co-incides with the revered sun-like star. It is basic knowledge to the Freemasons and other mystery schools, it is kept hidden from the rest of you whom they deem to be the "great unwashed", "cowans".

Re: The Sphinx

Below is a picture of the Kings Chamber in the Great Pyramid. When you walk in that chamber, the walls are clear of any writting and in its center is an open coffin. No body was placed in the coffin as a final burial, rather the student after a special ceremony would lie inside the coffin as a representation that the student would rise from the coffin in a new life and a new begining. Another words, a more enlighten person...
