British band Viola Beach killed in Stockholm car crash.

All four members of British band Viola Beach have been killed when their car plunged 25m into a river.

It is believed their manager was also travelling with them.

very tragic, so young and who knows how far they would have gone in their music ..Life can be taken away so quickly ..

But they are dead, so the only people suffering are relatives and friends.

I have never heard of them either but being a Mother of 2 boys
I do feel sorry for their relatives.
Seems they came along and passed the whole queue waiting for
the bridge to open/close and went through the barrier and plop
into the water 80 feet down.

A lorry driver said they must have been drugged, drunk or falling
asleep to not see the lights flashing, the barrier or the queue of
traffic waiting for the gates to open. Poor lads.

Something was amiss, going at speed and crashing through the barrier
Maybe the brakes failed .........

That's sad for all their relatives, friends and followers never heard of the band but that's shocking news...

I have never heard of them either. OH watching the news a few moments ago told me just now.
Very sad for their family & friends.

If they passed several stationary vehicles, maybe they thought they could beat the barriers and get through ? Whatever the circumstances, it's very sad. Young lives cut short..
