Nikon FS 80-400mm lens

On another photographic site someone was asking about the Nikon AFS 80-400mm lens so I thought I would do a little test using my Nikon D800 camera

First of the photos are unedited I hasten to say (or in other words as taken)

There are 2 modes I used first the Full Frame at 400mm length

Then the crop frame mode giving me 600mm length

600mm edited version

and as a comparison at 12 mm on my Nikon D300 camera

Needless to say what a remarkable lens this is, at least I think so. Taken from my front door
