My idea of 'love' is apparently not the same as that of most others. To me it is just liking someone a lot. I couldn't 'love' anyone I didn't like, including family.

My husband and I haven't exchanged valentine cards since we married, we don't do the romance bit, just not us, which is fine by me.

My wife said to me 'You're not thinking of buying me flowers for Valentine's Day are you ' ... I said 'No why do you ask' she said 'Because I'd rather have some pearls' I said 'OK we'll go into town on Friday and get you some'......and we will !
My lovely wife can have whatever she wishes .. So no need for silly cards !

Its our wedding anniversary.
We are going to lock the doors close the blinds take the phone of the hook and enjoy a night at the movies in the comfort of our own home.

We dont need tat and crowded places to know its our special day..

We don't bother with our wedding anniversaries either, but our children insist on doing something for the significant ones.

We always send a donation to the Dogs Trust instead of sending each other cards and presents on Valentine's Day. We buy each other little presents now and again throughout the year. There doesn't need be a particular reason.
