Good one, AB, that reminds me of the telephone exchange I used when I first started work!! I got everything all mixed up as well

Funny! I too had my first job as a switchboard operator; that brought back memories!

Me too! I used one of those for ten years. I loved working with the cords. In our nearest town it was the last to go over from a manual exchange to an auto manual exchange. the boards we used were alot higher than those.

Sometimes when you had to stretch over others to plug into the number you wanted you had to make sure you washed your armpits regularly otherwise you would smell BO.
