This winter weather is starting to get a bit boring Poohdog. Me and Sheila usually go walking 2/3 times a week but that's not happened this winter as, more often than not, it's been raining.

Here in my part of the world its been pretty rotten as well, We have had continuous cold fronts this year that bring with it rain and some tornadoes. Our winters are usually pretty dry. This has not been the case this year

I am beginning to develop webbed feet and if the sun were to make an appearance here I must admit that I just would not know quite what to do

I know the feeling .
Every day I wade through the mud with Chloe three times but having had a painful torn meniscus in my knee for the last few months I am not complaining too much because I can at least still walk

It won't be long now till spring and hopefully some dry weather and sunshine

Come on guys, cheer up, there are some brilliant waterproof garments on the market these days, put one on and get out there. It can be most enjoyable walking or running in the rain and you can sit at home afterwards with a hot bowl of soup and think 'It's good to be alive' - what's the alternative?

You are, of course, perfectly correct OGF....old age brings a certain amount of laziness with it !

I must be the odd one out here cos I enjoy seeing the rainy weather ,its the wind I hate with it.
Weve had so much strong wind just lately...mind you ive not been up to getting out and about so to watch the rain from indoors is a little different than getting out in it I have to admit.
