Ageism?

Hello everyone,

We are students at Norwich City College and as part of our Sociology coursework we are doing research into ageism and employment.

We are looking for people who have experienced ageism to fill in a questionnaire. If anyone would be willing to participate please reply and we will be in touch, please note that all the research we will be undertaking will be confidential as no names will be taken.

Thanks.

Rob and Ruth.

Is that right? Is the moon made of green cheese?

Why not copy and paste your questionaire so that people can read it and see where it is coming from.

IF it is genuine then they can copy it and paste it to you in a PM.

Yes - one thing life has taught us is to be careful about giving personal info away (such as email addresses). As antibrown says, copy and paste and some of the OFFers may PM you with a completed questionnaire

Re: Ageism?

that`s better...new batteries.
Ageism isn`t confined to crumblies, you know. Young people, women of child-bearing age and mature people can all experience difficulties. Like in some professions years of service put you on a higher rate that newbies... so newbies replace experienced people.
And some people prefer not to employ youngsters because they can be unreliable. Like the last 4 lots of work experience kids and the ones from the local teen volunteers group who never bothered turning up....
