Pots or Not!

I like to keep my butter and jam in special china preserve dishes...my butter dish is a china barrel with the lid having a brown cow on it for the handle...

I dont like eating butter from the packet or jam from the jar especially if people have been dunking their knife with crumbs into it(I hate that)lol

Do you like to have your jams/pickles and butter in preserve dishes?
What style are yours?
This is similar to my butter dish:

I have to admit that since I was widowed one`s standards may have dropped somewhat. You keep it up.

Re: Pots or Not!

I have a butter dish, white pot with a lid, but the jam and marmalade stay in their jars.
I have a little honey pot, never use it but I bought it cos I like it, waste of money really since I don't like honey, either!

We have a dish for Lemon Curd, there’s a picture of a sour faced Kurdish Rebel on it.
