Are You A Champagne Charlie?!!

I am not a big drinker but I love champagne! Lots of supermarkets are selling off good brands at the moment at knock down prices, so I have been stocking up!
Now, my sister would prefer a half of Lager to a glass of champagne, saying its like cats pee! Charming! No taste!
What about you? Do you like champagne or only drink it to celebrate? Or, do you think it is an overrated drink?

Don't like it myself much prefer a nice cold cider but no longer drink alcohol so can't even have that.

Not a fan of sparkling wine and I think champagne if over rated , prefer a nice fruity tasting Australian Sauvignon Blanc.

I like an Australian meself Meg but I’m a bit wary of the fruity types.
The devil you know and all that, so It’s Guinness for me every time and a drop of Port by way of a short.

Don"t think it has to be any special occasion to drink it either.

Anything containing alcohol is OK but I much prefer real ale to champagne.

Must be the most overrated wine out.
However I do drink it on special occasions .
Prefer a nice Marlborough sav blanc .
