Re: Did ya win the dosh?

I have a close eye on my neighbours in Worcestershire looking to see if anyone is being lavish with their money but haven't spotted anything yet .

It certainly isn't me I don't subscribe to the lottery and if it was I wouldn't be on here this morning I would be house hunting

Thing is Meg, nobody has claimed the money. Guess if you did not buy a ticket it will be no use you rummaging through your draws

Re: Did ya win the dosh?

....Some interesting comments underneath the article above..

The night of the draw the incorrect numbers on the millionaire raffle were displayed for around 1 hour. I checked my ticket that night at the time of the draw and concluded that I wasn't a winner and the ticket was binned. Some weeks later I learned of the unclaimed prize and the incorrectly displayed raffle numbers. Concluding there was a chance albeit a small one that I could have disposed of the winning ticket I wrote to Camelot. I explained how I had come to throw my ticket away and gave them the time and outlet where I bought the ticket. They replied only saying that If my ticket had been lost I should have notified them earlier. My argument was lost on them and they sent me a claim form which I filled out but heard nothing more. I have no idea if my ticket was a winner. They would neither confirm or deny whether the ticket had been bought from the outlet. All of sudden and after all this time the ticket has suddenly been claimed. I hope it's a genuine claim and if it is congratulations to whoever it may be, but after my dealings with Camelot it seems rather convenient and I'm not convinced.
We have no evidence the wining ticket has been presented.

The winning numbers were incorrectly displayed by the operators for around 1 hour.

We do not know if the latest statement form the operators is true. More reason never to bother buying a ticket.

I looked through that Dorset Property site Meg, with Sandbanks being in Dorset I had to plough through countless pages of property before getting down to the mere six million pound property

Re: Did ya win the dosh?

Well it looks like the local papers was a bit previous with their pronouncement that someone had made a claim, they hadn't then but they have now
Some woman has put in a claim on a ticket which went thought the wash deleting the date, bar code and serial number
