Good morning everyone, very quiet here at the moment weatherwise, really makes a change from the wet and windy of late.....

Weeks, nay, months ago I posted that I had applied to be a volunteer at Queen Street Mill, an old cotton mill now preserved as a museum
This had to be approved by Lancashire County Council, which took ages

I'm going this afternoon for induction training, to meet the supervisors, and to arrange my times

Good morning. Still dark of course, cold, wet but not raining, I haven't seen any frost here.

I have a food delivery due today, they are usually here between 7 and 8.

Looks like being a nice day here. Nothing firm planned, other than a man coming to look at the loft hatch, with a view to fitting a ladder. So much more convenient than lugging in a stepladder.
