Civil servants insult the Pope

Has this been covered before?

It beggars belief. In my days as a soon to be failure in the civil service I went to sessions with the bright young chaps soon to be in high places.

Brain storming was a game played -who can get away with saying `penis` before a Minister( Minister I need to note what you say but my (pen is ) out of ink.

But to allow it to go beyond that makes me wonder.

Someone should be sacked. And preferably a higher grade who should have been in charge of what got printed

I think the Pope can rise above it. I am not sure where these media leaks come from. What was probably an office joke (possibly in bad taste) has got out of hand and been fed to the circling sharks by someone with an axe to grind.
