If you could call doing two years part time in the reserve forces ‘Doing your bit’ then I’ve done it, albeit very reluctantly as I’m a peaceful person, but it kept the government happy so that’s the duty bit sorted. I prefer to call doing my bit the fact that I helped carry on the family clan very willingly, the result is the government gets a bonus with two more useful productive citizens paying high taxes, it's a win win situation. May I add, but not to boast, that I do my bit to keep two publicans and a bookie in business too.
