Shampoo & set

I had a dryer like this and for many years used to roller my hair (even though it's got a natural wave) and dry it under a contraption like this.

I wonder if anybody still puts rollers in their hair - or even has a shampoo & set ... or even uses one of these....

Crazy looking contraption. Reminds me of that Star Trek episode of the Borg Collective. Where all the brains were assumed. Thus becoming one of the many and many of the one

My hair is too curly to do much with, I just dry it quick as I can and put it up or tie it back

Re: Shampoo & set

Before sitting with the contraption on our head we had to do this.
No wonder 'I'm washing my hair tonight' was a genuine reason to refuse a date...

I don't know really Patsy... Curling tongs? - or maybe rollers are still used. That's why I asked does anybody still use them?
I ditched the rollers in favour of scrunch drying/blow drying.

I've got some of those long bendy foam curlers. They're not very good at curling your hair, nut they do make splendid tentacles for Kraken!

I still have some foam ones, but haven't used them for a few years. I've gone to throw them out a few times, but always hold back! Just in case ya know!

Re: Shampoo & set

I shampoo my hair, part dry it, then use a hot brush to give it some style
