Poinsettias

Do you buy one every Christmas and if so do you always go for the traditional red like me or do you prefer one of the many other colours available this year?

Re: Poinsettias

My husband has bought me a Poinsettia every Christmas since we've been married ... 42 years now. He always buys the traditional red one which I'm pleased about as I don't like any of the other colours.

Re: Poinsettias

My husband has always bought me one also - and always red.
I find red to be more festive. I love red!

Re: Poinsettias

There's a plant nursery very near to here and at this time of year their greenhouses are always a sea of red poinsettias. This year its strange to see so many varying colours but red will always be the one for us.

Re: Poinsettias

I'm not particularly keen on them, so please don't bother to send me one anybody.

(One reason why I don't have them is because would be toxic to my dogs if they meddled with them).

Oh EZ, I don't want to seem ungrateful, and it was very thoughtful of you, but would you mind if I send it on to Patsy?
Here you are Patsy.

Re: Poinsettias

As long as it goes to a good home Mups that's fine. It's much smaller than I remember it. They obviously don't travel well!
