Toasters

Have you got one of those toasters with the extra wide slots that will comfortably take thick slices of bread or crumpets?

If so, is it good, and what make is it please? Ta.

Re: Toasters

I have a four slot toaster with the wide slots ...I think its a Breville. I toast thick slices and crumpets and also tea cakes too in it...I always turn the setting up higher for crumpets though as these can take the heat and I like them crispy not doughy and white

Re: Toasters

Mine is an Argos Colour range one (bright green) it's ok but, if you put crumpets or cheese scones (yummy toasted) in it you have to switch it off and dig them out as it doesn't pop up far enough.
