35 Years ago today.

It was 35 years ago today that John Lennon died, i remember hearing it on the radio, and it was a shock.

It's hard to believe it's that long ago.
When I was I New York I saw the place he was shot. Very sobering..

I remember that news breaking too. Had my radio on in bed that morning and my jaw just hit the floor. I just had to go next door, wake my parents and have them listen to it as well.

Was never a Beatles fan but it was a shock, nonetheless.

Frightening how quickly life is whistling by, I'd never have guessed it was that long ago.

8th December 1980 grim anniversary of his murder, you hear the news and hope that it's not true.

Yes I was shocked too. I had been listening to him for a week
as he was on Radio One talking about his new work and his
new way of thinking.
Terrible event to read about how he was slung into the back
of a police car and they were asking him if he was John Lennon.
Whilst poor Yoko was left behind outside where he was shot.

RIP John. Still love the Beatles.

I remember having the radio on in my bedroom and running downstairs to tell my parents that he had been shot. So sad and shocking even to this day.

I was a Beatles fan and was shocked on hearing the news of his death.
