Take care of the sunburn; use lots of sunblock; at least you got a free dose of Vitamin D!

believe me, there is no one more cautious than me in the sun. Obviously not cautious enough today!!! I usually wear a factor 50 - it's more like tippex. And when I am on holiday, I always get laughed at because I use the factor 50, sit in the shade and wear a hat and t-shirt.

Early April in England caught me out though

Arrrrgh!!!

I have those symptoms - aches and pains and needing a nap when I get home from work. I put it down to my age.

I also thought flour and cereals were fortified with vit D to prevent this very problem.

http://ods.od.nih.gov/factsheets/vitamind.asp

Another interesting article on vit D. Note further in the article on toxicity of the vitamin in higher doses.

Which reminds me - if you are in the arctic and kill a polar bear for food, don't eat it's liver - it will be poisonous due to the amount of vit A in it.
