Yes, probably just anticipating the result of the election, or what he hopes will be the result

It's very easy to be wise after the event, you should have heard some Libdem MP woffling on in a committee stage debate this afternoon, only three MP's present, and kept repeating himself and talking a load of gobbly gooke.
