We'll always get mixed messages PPH, . . . the individual "experts" each have their own ideas unfortunately.

I for one will be ignoring them, especially as I am now growing my own which taste far superior to old stale supermarket fruit and veg

Personally I think it's a question of not only what you do eat, but perhaps more importantly what you don't eat.

Certain things are known to be carcinogenic - so if you cut most of them out, you are generally left with a variety of fruits and vegetables

They still don't know what causes cancer! One minute we are told that coffee is bad for us then the next they say it is good! I had an aunt who ate loads of veggies, yet she died of cancer!!
