A simple message

I asked my girl friend what should I buy as a Christmas present for her children? Her kids said nothing,it is enough for him to make our mother feel happy. Oh bless, they will get a gift token nonetheless.

I am getting rather fond of Veronica,I know Jenny would not object.

Although I am a rather Bah Humbug type of person, your post has made my Christmas. Every good wish to you and your girlfriend, and her children. You deserve to have a special Christmas.

Re: A simple message

I just got a Christmas card from a friend whose husband has been suffering from cancer for sometime and she herself has been unwell. This year has been difficult for them. In it she said, "Let's hope we have a healthier new year. We're not bothered about wealthier and we're too old now for wiser."
Makes you think...
